> WIP - Work in Progress (details not finished)
A day dedicated to mesh networks & mixnets. We'll explore ways to build and use independent networks and private communication systems, suitable for both technical users and newcomers interested in decentralized infrastructure.
The morning sessions will introduce you to the fundamentals of mesh networks ([Reticulum](https://reticulum.network/), [Meshtastic](https://meshtastic.org/)) and mixnets ([Tor](https://torproject.org/), [NYM](https://nymtech.net/)), including network architecture, protocols, and privacy considerations. In the afternoon, you'll apply this knowledge in practical workshops, learning how to both set up and use decentralized communication systems - whether as a network operator or everyday user.
Each participant will receive their own [PPMeshNode-1](https://github.com/ParalelniPolis0/PPMeshNode), a handheld open-source LoRa device developed specifically for this event (included in the ticket price). This device will serve as primary learning tool throughout the day, helping grasp all the key concepts of mesh networks and mixnets through hands-on experience.
